Macclesfield Community Association

The Macclesfield Community Association (MCA) is an active, cooperative and accountable committee representing Macclesfield’s residents and community groups. Members of the MCA committee are volunteers who have a love for the community they live in and welcome those with a sense of community to join them in progressing the future of the township.

The population of Macclesfield is approximately 550 households, and the MCA assists and works closely with local organisations helping to create a network of volunteers in our community who cater for the needs of all age groups.  It works on many fronts within the community, represents the community to our local Council and connects to outside organisations as necessary.

The MCA meets on the 2nd Monday of each month, except December, in the Institute Supper Room at 7.00 pm.  The AGM is held in August or September. All residents are welcome to attend our meetings as observers and/or to raise relevant items for discussion.
